Do you offer a discounted room rate for event attendees?
Yes, we are pleased to offer a special discounted room rate for guests attending the AAIM Beauty Innovators Summit & Hair Competition at the AC Hotel National Harbor. This exclusive rate is available for a limited time, allowing our attendees to enjoy all the comforts and amenities of the The AC Hotel National Harbor while staying conveniently close to the event.

When do doors open and close?

​Doors open at 12 PM. The event will end at 4:30 PM. Please refer to the agenda/schedule for exact times.

Is there an age requirement to attend the AAIM Beauty Innovators Summit?
If you’re under 18, you must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. 

​

• Guests 5 years of age and under do not require a ticket to attend.

• Guests should bring their IDs. While VIP is open to all, there will be a bar inside, and guests will be required to show IDs.

Is re-entry allowed?
Re-entry is permitted for ticketed guests. Keep in mind that all guests must go through a security checkpoint upon entry/reentry.

Will there be photography and videography taking place in the venue?
Yes. By attending the AAIM Beauty Innovators Summit, you grant AAIM the right to videotape and photograph you and exhibit and use your appearance in any and all media in perpetuity.

Will there be food and beverages served at the AAIM Beauty Innovators Summit?
The venue, The AC Hotel National Harbor is equipped with a variety of food options for guests to indulge. VIP ticket holders will have access to the VIP Lounge which food and beverages will be served. You are able to bring refillable water bottles into the event.

 

Is there parking at the venue?
There is ample parking at The AC Hotel National Harbor. Our guests will receive discounted parking for the venue's parking lot/garage. There are also several parking garages at the National Harbor. Limited street parking is available at the National Harbor.

What can I bring to the AAIM Beauty Innovators Summit?
There will be a limit of one bag per guest admitted onto into the event. All bags will be searched upon entry and are subject to search at any time. There are no bag storage facilities at the event.

 

The following items are prohibited and MAY NOT be brought onto the premises:

• Hard coolers or like containers

• Please leave strollers at home to maintain smooth access and comfort for all guests.

• Sealed packages of any kind

• No outside food or drinks will be allowed

• Aerosol cans or noise-making devices

• Alcohol

• Computers or laptops

• Weapons - regardless of permit

• Animals - Exception: registered service animals

• Flags, banners or signs

• Any materials, items or apparel constituting unauthorized advertising or promotion

• Laser pointing devices

• Drones: UAS-Unmanned Aircraft Systems or other model aircraft

• Any other items deemed dangerous or inappropriate by the security personnel, at their sole discretion

The AAIM Beauty Innovators Summit reserves all rights to modify, cancel or postpone this event, including by changing event dates, times, and other details, at its sole discretion at any time. The AAIM Beauty Innovators Summit will make all reasonable efforts to provide ticket purchasers with timely notice of any such modifications, cancellation or postponement.
